This is a humble effort to keep alive and to enrich others with words from the pen of Elizabeth Payson Prentiss (1818-1878). I pray that what you read here will help you in your walk with God. It is for all ages and genders: young ladies from sixteen upward; married women who have recently crossed the threshold into that blessed estate, as well as those who have been settled into it for years; and men who have wives and daughters they want to encourage in holiness. All are welcome to partake. You will find the taste of both sweetness and bitterness in much that is written here, but may it all be food for your soul.
